My SCM version is SCM 7.0 & EHP3. LC version is 7.9.08.21. We are planning to apply latest patches for our livecache.
I have refered the note 1529690 & it asks to download patches LC/LCAPPS 10.0 & apply using SDBUPD. Another note 1672252 is asking to download a maxdb patches from database softwares section on SMP & the latest available softwares are
MAXDB 7.9.08.32 Server Package, MAXDB 7.9.08.32 Application Runtime Package ,MAXDB 7.9.08.32 Web Services Package. So I am confused here which patches I should apply to patch my LC LCAPPA 10 or maxdb 7.9.08.32. Or both. And does the both patches can we aply using SDBUPD.
Also can you please let me know whats the difference between server package, application runtime package & web service package.
Our maxdb environment is on separate server which is linux x86 & SCM SAP/DB is on another server which is HP-UX.
Please help me as I am struggling to decide how I should proceed with this patch upgrade.
